Explorers Club -Explore the world of wine with great wines under $25 - matched to your personal taste preferences! A great club for the new wine enthusiast wanting to explore the different regions and varietals around the world.
Connoisseurs Club- Seriously good wines for the more "serious" wine enthusiast. Connoisseurs Club wines can be enjoyed now or saved (cellared) for a later date. Perfect for the "intermediate" wine enthusiast.
Seasonal Tasting Club - Rhône in June? Napa Cab in January? Enjoy wines that are both customized to your tastes and seasonally appropriate.
Thematic Clubs
Limited Addictions - Highly allocated, limited-production wines - such as Diamond Creek, Gaja, Arietta and Château Pavie - plus exclusive events. Easier than being on a dozen individual mailing lists

What is the difference between Personalized and Thematic Wine Clubs?
Wines in the personalized wine clubs (Explorer’s, Connoisseurs and Seasonal Tasting) are chosen based on a members personal taste profile and ratings.
Wines in the thematic wines clubs are chosen is accordance with the theme of the club.
How does someone sign up for a wine club?
There are 5 easy steps to sign up for a Bottlenotes wine club:
1) Choose your Club. Go to: https://www.bottlenotes.com/wine-clubs
2) Choose the number of bottles that you would like to receive in each shipment.(2,3,4,6 or 12)
3) Choose the frequency of your shipments (Monthly, Bi-monthly, Quarterly)
4) Fill out your personal taste profile
5) Enjoy great boutique wines from around the world delivered to your doorstep.
Can I give wine club as a gift?
Yes! Give a gift that will keep drinking the whole year.
1) Follow Steps 1-3 above and check “This is a gift” before adding your gift subscription to your shopping cart.
2) Enter your recipients shipping address
3) Enter your recipients name, email and a gift message (During this step you can choose if you would like your welcome letter to go out to your recipient immediately or at a future date)
4) Your recipient receives their welcome letter, fills out their personal taste profile, verifies their shipping address and “activates” their Bottlenotes subscription.
Can I pre-pay my membership?
Yes, simply check “Pre-pay” before adding your subscription to your shopping cart. You will then be prompted to choose the number of shipments you would like to prepay.
I am new to wine. What would be the best club for me?
The Explorers club is ideal for new wine enthusiasts as it will allow a new wine enthusiast to literally explore the different wine regions and varietals of the world.
Will you have rare wines?
Limited Addictions Club Members will have access to rare and highly allocated wines.
Who chooses the wines for each of my shipments?
Wines are chosen based on your personal taste preferences. Initial recommendations will be made based upon your answers from the questionnaire you complete when you sign up for a club. As you input ratings on the wines you try, your personal taste profile will be updated. Our Taste Preference Engine will use the information to recommend exciting, new wines to you. When will my club wine club shipments arrive?
Shipments typically arrive in the middle of the month.
Do I sign any type of contract?
NO! There is no commitment. Your membership will automatically renew each month, but you can cancel at any time.
How am I billed as a Bottlenotes club member?
Your credit card will be automatically charged each month that your wine is shipped - no fuss, zero hassle! Again, no commitment is required: you can cancel at any time.

What States does Bottlenotes ship to?
Botttlenotes currently ships to the following states (we will add states as they open up): Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
How long does shipping take?
Shipments to CO, CT, DC, FL, IL, MA, NJ, NY, or WI take 6 to 10 business days to arrive after shipping. Shipments to all other states normally arrive in 1-4 business days after shipping.
AZ- Shipments to Arizona arrive in 14-30 business days after shipping.
Wine: $9.99 for the first bottle and $2.00 for each additional bottle.
Gift Packs: $14.98
Stemware: $9.95 for the first stem and $5.00 for each addition stem.
How much is shipping for wine clubs?
Shipping is just $9.99 for all wine club shipments no matter how many bottles are in your shipments.
How come Bottlenotes does not ship to my state?

Does Bottlenotes have a return policy?
Unfortunately it is illegal for U.S. consumers to ship wine in the United States. Nonetheless, your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your shipment at customerservice@bottlenotes.com. We will resend all defective bottles on good faith for the first request. Following the wine trade tradition, all bottles ten years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.

How do you determine someone’s personal taste preferences?
Bottlenotes devised a Personal Taste Profile, one that asks explicit questions about your taste preferences (“How much do you like these varying styles?”) and asks implicit questions about your taste preferences ( How do you take your coffee or tea?”) We combine your answers to the explicit and implicit questions to deduce your Personal Taste Profile. How does Bottlenotes choose the wines it features in clubs and the online retail store?
We do a great deal of research on small and boutique wine producers in both the “new” and “old” worlds. We also try to find regions of countries that are less well known, yet offer fabulous wines, such as Jumilla, Spain, or Santa Barbara, California. Bottlenotes also offers stellar wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Napa and other well known regions.
Can I add wines that I’ve tried in other places (a friend’s house, or at a restaurant, etc.) to My Bottlenotes (Virtual) Wine Cellar?
Yes! Once you have created Bottlenotes profile you cab add wines that you have tasted using the “ Add a Wine” feature
Will I be able to share my wine tasting notes and recommendations with friends?
